Traditionally cooked and eaten in various forms specially cooked with boiling water in the form of cookies. The sago pearls as you can boil water or milk to make a cake (pudding) sweet sago. Sago pearls are outwardly resemble a pearl tapioca and both can be used so alternative.

The Tapioca Sago Seed / Tapioca Pearl is a starch or starch food extracted from the pulp inside the stem or trunk of some palm trees. Mainly drawn from the species Metroxylon Sagu.
